Gino Bulso, Eric Smith and Paul Krog have announced the formation of Bulso PLC, a trial and appellate practice litigation boutique firm. Bulso PLC recently completed the build out of 7,700 square feet of office space on the top floor of the Ramparts Building in Maryland Farms. The firm is led by Gino Bulso, a seasoned trial attorney who in 2008 founded Leader, Bulso & Nolan, PLC with partners Bill Leader and George Nolan. Bulso practices in all areas of business litigation, including contract disputes, construction disputes, securities litigation, franchise litigation, real estate litigation, and business torts. He has tried more than 100 cases to verdict, has practiced in numerous state and federal courts across the country, and currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Advisory Commission on the Rules of Practice and Procedure.
Eric Smith joins the firm from Nissan North America, Inc., where he has served as senior counsel for the last seven years. He is a former partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. Smith currently concentrates his practice on business litigation, including contract disputes, business torts, and class action litigation. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Nashville Bar Association from 2017–2020 and currently serves as a trustee for the Nashville Bar Foundation.
Paul Krog leads the firm’s appellate practice. Krog is a former member of Leader, Bulso & Nolan, PLC, having joined that firm in 2010 following his graduation from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Krog was a key member of the team that recently obtained reversal of a $30 Million judgment in a case brought under the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act.
Bulso PLC currently employs two associate attorneys, Nicholas Bulso (Emory Law School 2015) and Kevin Francese (Notre Dame School of Law 2020) and plans to grow to meet the needs of its clients.
